Vampire Knight, Vol. 19 (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

Oh. My. Goodness. I started this manga many years ago and gave up on it when I had to wait a month for every new chapter release. I realized a while back that the manga had finished, but was reluctant in reading it again. Last week, I decided to start from the beginning, and I'm now left speechless. I have always dreamed of Yuki and Zero being together, and they actually did. I am so.... At lost for words, and the ending was altogether very heart warming. Although there are sometimes confusing parts (due to characters looking identical, twins, and constant flashbacks), I do love this manga and the unique storyline. I felt quite nostalgic throughout reading this manga, and I'm satisfied but also mourning that it is finally over. I just want to state again how happy I am to find out that Yuki and Zero found it in their hearts to love one another once again. Although they both don't end up living forever, I felt that their life was well-lived and completed each other perfectly. -sigh- I'm crying internally of relief, sadness, & happiness. This is too emotional for me!! Oookay, I'm finally done ... I was really excited to finish up with the manga, but ... I'm not sure what I just read. What kind of ending is that! There didn't seem to be closure (for me at least) ... Seriously! That was what I waited for???? I'm sort of disappointed. After giving all the other books five stars, I think I'm giving this a 3, because I still thought the idea for Kaname to die was ... unique (I didn't think he'd just get killed off, you know)? which in a way didn't really happen because he came back to life ... as a human. And Yuuki ... ugh, nevermind. This review is making me feel more frustrated, so I'm just going to stop.At least I'm done now ... But I like Meru Puri so much better.
