What a perfect love story! I went through a roller coaster of emotions reading this story. I hurt for Alex because she didn't understand what happened to her relationship with Dylan. She loves him so much and she can't get over him. Dylan still loves Alex but he can't get over his feelings of not being good enough for Alex. In addition he is recovering from injures received in Afghanistan. His disabilities only compound his feelings of inadequacies. Fortunately their love is still strong but is it strong enough to get them through the pain? What a good book. I didn't realize this was part of a series (the book stands on its own) so now I have to read about the other Thompson sisters. ChallengeCarrie is Alex's sister and confidant in this book. (Works back to Drazen sister challenge.) I liked this book after finding it on a BookBub ad. My only two problems aren't with the book itself; a wish I'd read the first one (although other than the sister being with her guy there didn't seem to be a lot of spoilers for that one) and I wish the descriptions of each book didn't reveal quite so many spoilers for the earlier books in the series. Yes, I get that they are romances and that by the end of each book that sister will have worked out her HEA or Happy For Now with her guy, I just don't want to see spoilers about children in the description for another book. Hard to do with a series, but you never know which book a reader will run across first and with spoilers in the descriptions, I'm not sure I feel quite as much need to go back and read.Which has nothing to do with this story itself. I really enjoyed the story. I liked the two main characters and the supporting characters. Their struggles with the events in their lives seemed realistic.
Sehr schöne, romantische Young Adult Geschichte. Nur zu empfehlen :)
