BDSM is not a genre I typically read, in fact I think this was the first one (I've never even read Fifty Shades), but I was drawn in by the good reviews and the fact that it involved ballet dancers which is not often done (or not enough for me). The book was really well written with compelling characters and an emotional storyline. The sexy scenes were very hot and integral to the story. The fact that the hero, Liam, was into BDSM played a major role in how he and Ashleigh came together and how he helped her deal with emotional trauma. I was really pulled through this book by the emotional journey Ashleigh went through. The parts of the story that dealt with ballet were also very satisfying and organic to the story as well as realistic. Wow, what a great story and such a fantastic writing! I think it is one of my favorite books, ever. I enjoyed immensely reading this book. It has a fascinating storyline and very lovable and complicated charachters, that deeply captivate you throughout the reading. The love story is just so beautiful, unfolding in a natural pace,the characters' development is very realistic and described with so much talent.This story is a very romantic one. There are bdsm elements, but it is not the main issue in this book, so I would recommend this one to anyone who loves beautiful and compelling love stories.5 HUGE DRAMATIC STARS!
