This continues the story of group of survivors. In this issue, they encounter other survivors as they struggle to survive the apocalypse. In this issue, there were three different plotlines. The first plotline I did not care for. I believe it was there just for shock value and not for character development. The last two thirds of this book was terrific. It delves into morality and when do people cross the line. I loved how they told this aspect of the story as they didn't show the actual events but hinted at them. It was a poignant way of storytelling. It has been a long time in this series where an issue concerned itself with character development rather than shock and action. If you have been a fan of this series you owe it to yourself to read this issue. There are events that are important and these events tug at the emotions. It's been a few weeks since I finished Vol. 10. In the meantime I have watched the slowly paced and poorly acted second half of the 4th season of the tv show - although the season finale is strong, most of the episodes were so poor, that I often considered giving up on the series.Volume 11 is similar to the tv show only in that the few events that take place seem rather small. But contrary to the series, the pacing is excellent and the characters are more vivid and their dialogue more personal than ever before.I'm happy that the tv show is over (for this season) and I can now enjoy the remaining volumes before the next season of the tv show might dilute my reading experience.
Ewwwww!! I see all the wee clues from the season finale now!!
