We follow her into the courtroom. After a few minutes, we all take our seats in the front row, right behind the boys. The bailiff leads my boys into the courtroom and I can see that they are pissed off. When they get close enough, I lean over the rail. “What’s wrong?” "Fuckin' pricks are trying to take us out. I got fucking cut yesterday in the yard. Jase got jumped the day before. Get us the fuck out of here." I look over at Jase. He has a split lip and a black eye. When Henley walks by, I grab her wrist, pulling her closer to me. "What's wrong?" she asks with concern. "Can you get them off today?" She looks at me, then over at the boys. "I think it is very possible that I can get the charges dropped. I have something that will possibly ruin the DA's case,” she says with a cheeky grin. I can't help but smile back at her. Just as I'm about to kiss her, the bailiff says, "All rise for the honorable Judge York." When Judge York walks in the courtroom, he instantly zeros in on Henley and me.
