This book I couldn't put down. The characters are so real that you get caught up in their lives. I love the accuracy of the history, too, for the time period this was written in. The suspenseful ending of the story will leave you wanting to turn more pages until you reach the end which for me totally turned out differently than I had thought. This is the first time I had ready any of Dan Walsh's writings and I can't wait to read more. He is now on my list of favorite authors. I really loved this book. I almost put it down because of the really hard topic, but I powered through the losing of the child and was rewarded. Each scene kept me turning the page, cheering the FBI on and wishing world events didn't interrupt important things like that. Loved the ending and thoroughly enjoyed how Dan depicted the world of the 60s. Especially marriages back then which often did end because of the very same reasons as he characters.Highly recommended.
Great story. But I didn't enjoy Dan's writing in this book as much as I have in his other books.
