Conclusion: wheat is bad for you, and you must avoid it. Want to lose weight? Follow Atkins. There is nothing revolutionary about this book. And contrary to its title, its very gluten-focused; gluten is contained in wheat, but it's contained in other grains as well. As someone with a mild wheat allergy, not a gluten sensitivity, I was hoping this book would focus more on the latter, and not so much interchange the two as if they are one and the same. I found the book to be fascinating. The author does a great job explaining why wheat is not good for you and how it affects the body. He does however use a little too much medical jargon and I believe this to be lost on the average reader. I gave the book four stars because the author appears to be extreme in the foods he limits (i.e. legumes). My take away is to eliminate wheat due to several health factors and continue to consume the foods I've eaten previously.
It goes well with my experience. I know too little to say anything more than that.

Great book. Much more to say and I plan to blog a review later.

Could have been much shorter, but has me reducing wheat.

I read books while my mind wanders and wonders.
