This is certainly not one of my typical Christmas reads!!! I have tried to read Tim Dorsey before and couldn't get through the first couple of pages due to the nature of drug abuse of the characters. I know Mr. Dorsey is a very popular author so there must be something worth reading. This year something caught my eye so I read the Prologue and was hooked. It's still not my kind of book but what a humorous read!!! Serge is at it again, this time teaching the bad guys what Christmas or at least Florida spirit is all about. Idolizing his role model Jim Davenport, Serge tries his best to settle down and be a family man... just in time for the holidays. What do the neighbors think? Will they run him off their street or will some type of miracle occur so that they welcome him and his band of merry elves into their community? If you like other books in this series then this one is a good fun read. If you don't like this series there are plenty of other books to read.
It was a lark. Very simply written in simple language that easily flows. A hoot for the holidays.

Serge Storms and Coleman take on Christmas. Short and fluff but lots of fun. Typical Dorsey.
