Ok, first I will not say that this is the greatest piece of fiction out there. But, I will not say that it is terrible, either. I really enjoyed what I have read so far, which is books 1-4. It was a "light" read for me, not too in depth or complicated. Now Kylie was getting on my nerves with the whole "What am I?" thing over and over and over again, but oh well. No book is 100% perfect, and everyone knows it. Even the masterpieces out there have SOMETHING that people don't like, so with that said, I will continue on with this series, because I enjoyed it! I was frustrated with the majority of this book and the reason why is Kylie's love life. If I were her I would have dumped Lucas after in Awake at Dawn becasue he clearly cares more about his pack than he does her. I don't know about other women out there but that is not something I like in a guy and I don't know what C.C. Hunter was thinking when she had Kylie stay with Lucas for so long. I did like the mystery and the ghost that went with it in this book, however. I don't want to spoil it for others but it had me sitting on the edge of my seat and was probably my favrite part (or parts) of the book. I also really like Kylie's journey to find out more about what she is. I liked that she got in contact with her grandfather and great-aunt and that she makes what I feel is the right choice at the end of the book.I for one am very much looking forward to reading the final installment in this series.
