Sometimes when I review a book I find that I have so many great things to say about it, or sadly sometimes the reverse is true. Now, I am having a hard time with this book. I REALLY enjoyed reading it. (4 stars and all), and I can't wait to read the other books in the series. However, I am hard pressed to say why I rated 4 stars and why I really enjoyed reading. The characters are relatively well developed, but there is plenty of room for more development - more enrichment. The story line is reminiscent of other books (sad man meets sad straight man ... sex ensues... fight... HEA). Please don't take that in the wrong way. The writing was well done and things flowed along nicely without any real hard core instalove. This book is definately worth the read. In the “…of Love” series (Wings of Love, Treasure of Love, Bounty of Love, Foundation of Love; and it’s best to read them in that order) you will encounter characters that will royally piss you off and others that you will fall hopelessly in love with. You will live side by side with your neighbor, your mailman…well, maybe not your mailman…but most certainly your siblings, your parents, but most importantly, your sweetheart! You will laugh, you will cry, but only if you are human, that is. It will be difficult to escape the fact that you are experiencing everyday real life situations complete with gay people; just like in real life!If you want a fairy tale complete with magic pixies, then move on to another series, you won’t get that here! If, on the other hand, you want to experience the magic of love in real life, then by all means read the “…of Love” series; you just might very well be entertained by what could be your own story!
What do You think about Wings Of Love (2011)?
Only problem I have with this book and the series is the insta-love.
