Well let me just jump right in there and say the first half of this book really dragged on for me. I had a hard time getting into the story. Jessica the main character was supper winey and came a crossed as a huge annoying baby. But I must admit the author really did capture how someone may actually take becoming a vampire so I read on. As the book went on it did become some what interesting, and end with a lot of unanswered questions. So for that reason I would want to read Witchcraft, the second book in the series. Overall this book was ok not one of my favorites. I was so pleased my good friend recommended this to me, and the fact its set in Manchester, which I am familiar with, is even better. This is a nice take on a vampire story, one which is new to me and I cant wait to read the next one. I love anything supernatural and witch based so this gave me a lot of what I wanted, and the whole thing created a movie in my mind as I became more and more lost in it.
