This book had me from the beginning, but that is nothing new with Debora Geary's books. I love her style of writing, and since I began reading her, my life at home has come to a stand still. It hasn't been since I read the Earth's Children book series that I have invested so much of my heart into characters and their lives. I am dreading that I am catching up with all of her books, either I really need to slow down my reading (not going to happen) or Ms. Geary needs lots of caffeine to write faster. So Lizard & Elsie are learning to like themselves and find their true place in the world. I loved the dares they gave each other at the end of the book. I'm looking forward to the finishing of their journeys in the final book of this trilogy. You have to read this trilogy in order, and if you haven't read any of the other Witch Central books, then you might want to read the first 2 or 3 of them first to get a feel for the theme and the characters. All the books are amazing, G-rated, stories full of wonderful, fully developed characters that immediately pull you in. For Amazon Prime members, these books are a good choice your monthly free book. I started getting them that way, but I've found myself buying them because I love to go back and re-read them, they are that good.
What do You think about Witches Under Way (2012)?
I liked it a lot, but it was a bit of a teaser... I suspect I'll like the next one much more.
