Worte Sind Nicht Meine Sprache (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
After hearing repetitively about this book and how amazing it is, I decided to give it a go. After struggling throughout this whole novel I feel like not only have I wasted my time, but also my money. The book seemed to have no climax so instead of there being a point of excitement, I found repetition. I would therefore not recommend this book to anyone because I hope no more people finish this book with the same disappointment as I feel. I actually did not finish reading this book. I only got about half way through. I thought the story was too slow. I did not think the plot was very interesting. The story is narrated by an author. He is approached by a young man. This man asks the author to help him write letters for his girlfriend. He choose the author, because he writes her favorite books. She gave the man a list of things that she wanted him to write about. She thought she would know him better after he had written to her. Unfortunately, the young man can't write very well.Eventually, the guy confesses that he was not the one writing the letters. After a series of other events, the breaks off their relationship. She is angry at the young man and the author. That is all I can tell you. That is all that I read. I think that this book is very boring, and I could never finish it. I would say to avoid this book at all costs, but who know? It may be the book for you. You never know until you start reading.
