An enjoyable easy read, I read the whole thing in one afternoon on a sick day. Characters were well-conceived and believable to the extent that annoyingly perfect characters can be.A light and fluffy story, I thought the way Bielman built up to the rendezvous was just the right amount of steamy. Not sure if I'm just slow, but I honestly was not sure which of them would receive the contract. The ending was perfectly predictable. In sum, a lovely quick piece of candy that had delicious flavor but I'm already forgetting about. One summer was all it took to give Samantha the strength to do something she loved. Now she was just trying to make her way in this new world all on her own. And she thought she was doing a fantastic job until a blast from the past swooped in and disabled all of her defenses.Dean had never met anyone like Samantha, and that summer they had spent together was the best time of his life, but his focus and determination did not have time for a personal life...nor did he want one. Not until she dropped back into his life, then there was nothing he wanted more. They each wanted the other like their next breath, but fear kept them from admitting it. Their story is one of ups and downs and no matter which it is it's filled with an intense longing like no other. But there was a lot of repetitiveness throughout where the same feelings and memories kept circling around and around. It's a good read, but I think it could have been more.

Very well written. A must read. Even though it was a short read nothing felt rushed.
