I have really enjoyed almost all the books in this series. I didn't like Turn & Burn, but that was due to the narrator. Although I listened to this one and it was the same narrator, it wasn't nearly as bad as her depiction of Fletch in Turn & Burn. I absolutely hated her accent to mimic how she thought he would talk with his Native American heritage. Also with this one, at first I thought I was going to be shorted with it being two romance couples in one book, but it really all worked out fine. Where I thought I would like Abe and Janie's story, I actually ended up liking Tierney and Renner's story better. Now I'm all caught up with this series and wondering if there will be any more to come. Abe and Janie. Everyone knew that Abe never got over his ex-wife. The same way everyone knew that Janie no longer loved Abe and was beyond him. Well, they were all wrong. Janie never stopped loving Abe. She wanted him, she wanted their marriage. She loved him. But...love isn't always enough - especially when you bring family into your marriage.Poor Abe tried his best to do right by everyone. His little brother and sister. As well as his wife, but he failed her. By not putting her first. Something he paid for, until the day she returned. Once Janie was back...Abe ensured her that they weren't over. And he didn't wavier. He was tenacious as hell. Janie was afraid of Abe's tenacity. Never wanting him to see how she felt, how she's always felt. But she was no match for Abe and his determination. What started back up as just sex quickly escalated to an exclusive committed relationship. Abe wouldn't let her get away without admitting her true real friends. And she couldn't have been happier. Abe was different. Their life was different. Everything was better. Even the love. Renner and Tierney. Two people that couldn't be more different, but so damn perfect for one another. He was the most gorgeous man ever. Ballsy, alpha and demanding. She was a nerd. Smart, introverted and shy as hell. It started with a lot of hate. But everyone knows there's a thin line between love and hate...and Renner and Tierney wavered back and forth until there was nothing between them but unconditional heart-stopping love. He knew she deserved a better man. And she knew he could've had any woman he wanted. But for some reason...the two of them chose each other. And once they made up their mind - they never looked back. Even when everything humanly possible tried to break them apart. Their love was more powerful. They got everything they never even knew they wanted once they decided to let their love live. Everything.
