Wow! Having read all the War of the Gods series, this book has been very different. I have never imagined Xander as great as he was in this book! Being enlightened by his past, one would appreciate the character of Xander being the powerful Original vampire that he is. You would also see his soft side which is also very appealing! Over all, I really really really loved this book! Awaiting for the Black God next! :) I couldn't put this book down! I got my signed copy at UtopYA this year and finally had time to read it :) This was my first book by Lizzy Ford and I was not disappointed. I had always heard such great things about her writing and I'm happy to say it's all true. Xander is such a punk but one you just don't want to resist. I normally don't like the guys who are quick to throw women away like "toilet paper" but he had a softness hiding inside of him that I couldn't wait to see come out. I'm very interested in reading the other books in this series now that Xander has given me a wonderful taste. I recommend this book ;)
I read this before Grey God. Why? It just seemed way more interesting, and omg was it! Good book.
