A VIP body pickup turned into a mess is always an interesting topic, add a love triangle and a brother with debt collector problems and we have a page turner. I still don't like Peter he's a dink that needs to go find some other rich chic. I feel that Coop got the short end of the stick in the romance world, and thank goodness he lost some of that father figure image towards Carlotta because that was turning into a daddy issues scene and this book already has enough daddy issues. Jake is still there but because being the lead detective he can't really be involved but from the pattern these books are going in I'm sure we will see a whole lot of him in the next book. So sick of Carlotta's extremely self-centered, self-destructive, and immature brother Wesley!!! Gambling, in debt to loan sharks, substance abuse, computer hacking/fraud, endangering the life of his supposedly beloved sister, etc. I wish Stephanie Bond (or her editor) had done away with that entire part of the storyline - maybe send Wesley to military school/reform school/prison/psychiatric hospital (he's definitely a danger to himself and others). It would have improved the flow and entire feel of this otherwise light mystery/romance. Unless there's some serious and lasting consequences for Wesley's misdeeds soon, I'm going to have to be done with this series. Without Wesley, this would have rated three - four stars.
What do You think about 3 Men And A Body (2008)?
I'm enjoying this series... kind of funny and not always too predictable reading.

Light reading. 3rd in the series. Ok but becoming predictable/repetitive.
