Disappointing. The whole point of flash fiction is to engage the reader, intellectually and emotionally--to leave them absolutely reeling after they are forced to draw conclusions that are extremely startling and emotional. A good piece of flash fiction is one that you want to reread, just to relive the HOLY SHIT factor, and I didn't feel that way about any of the pieces in this book. I honestly felt most of them were just meaningless rambles that did not elicit any type of response from me? Honestly, that "PLEASE WAKE UP" creepypasta is more powerful than 99% of the stories in this book. i quite enjoyed this book, this compilation of stories, paragraphs, pieces of works that are 420 figures long. Taking all 176 pages each as their own and seeing that they are all just a piece of human insight. such a beautiful thing, the human mind, the creativity and the reality of it all. Some pieces have a slip of wit, others a bitter enduring felt in the heart, and all of them are ment to be read and taken insightfully.i liked this book, and gave it a four because there was so much to this small book!
What do You think about 420 Characters (2011)?
I loved the variety of writing. Inspirational to challenge your own creativity in the same way.

Blech! Pass on this. Not a social media thing at all. Doesn't make sense.
