Bu kitapla ilgili nasıl bir yorum yapabilirim deyip durdum okuduktan sonra. Halen de ne söyleyecegimi bilmiyorum. Grinin Elli Tonu serisi yada Doğan Kitaptan çıkan Sana Soyundum - Crossfire serisi ile alakası yoktur, bu şekilde o guzel kitapların üzerinden prim yapılması çok yanlış. Körü körüne karalamam hiçbir kitabı. Ortada bir emek var çünkü, hem yazarın hem de yayınevinin. Ancak 80 Gün Arzunun Rengi için olumlu tek bir düşüncem bile yok. Öncelikle kitapta aşkı ve tutkuyu paylaşan bir çift yok, bu bizim bilindik aşk romanlarımızdan değil. Karakterler birbirinden beter. Kitaptaki olay, sadece sınırsız ve anlamsız seks. Bir insan -bir kadın- kendini daha ne kadar alçaltabilir, gururunu nasıl parçalar buna tanık oluyorsunuz. Ön okumasını okuduysanız eğer kadın karakterin adı Summer, klasik muzikle ilgilenen, keman çalan, çalarken kendini kaybeden ve bundan başka hiçbir özelliği olmayan seks düşkünü biri oldugunun izlerini az da olsa görmüş olursunuz. Kitapta, önce bir konserde tanıştıgı sevgilisinden ayrılıyor, internetten kendisine keman almayı teklif eden ancak bazı şartları olduguna dair mesaj atan Dominik -güya kitaptaki asıl adam- ile daha ikinci mesajdan sonra buluşuyor ve ona çıplak halde keman çalıyor, onunla birlikte oluyor - ne demek istediğimi anladınız- ardından Dominik'in gözleri önünde bir eskortla birlikte oluyor. Dominik onu izlerken bu durumdan hoşlanıyor ama aynı zamanda hoşuna gitmiyor bu olayın ardından ayrılıyorlar. Yayınevinin bu kitap için harcadıgı emege, beklediğimiz kitapları çıkarmayarak bizi beklettigi, kaçırdıgımız zamana yazık. Pegasus nasıl böyle bir hataya düşmüş anlayamıyorum. Kitap insanların zihnini kirletmekten başka birşeye yaramaz. Başarılı oldugu tek konu bu olacaktır. Ve bende yorumlamak adına bile olsa bir daha bu tarz birşey alıp okumayacagım. First of all, I would like to say that Vina Jackson has officially become one of my favorite authors of all time! The characters, plot, prose...all of these were very well put together. Summer and Dominik may not be characters that you can identify with but perhaps that was the intention of the author because let's face it, you can't possibly identify with just about any fictional characters out there! My interest in the Eighty Days series was sparked after I read the god-awful Fifty Shades trilogy (I didn't finish the third book because I can't take it anymore!) I expected to be disappointed but I was wrong. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I love the writing style of the author and how it alternates between the first and third person POV. Very interesting way of writing. All in all, a good book to read if you're into some kinky romance.
What do You think about 80 Notes De Jaune (2012)?
When I mooched this, I could probably have mooched all three, but I wasn't that sure about it. Now I do regret a bit as the other two don't seem to be available on bookmooch anymore. Despite a few irritating aspects, on the whole this was a pretty good read for its genre. The end had me very annoyed, however... Victor is such a creep, it's hard to accept that Summer would go along with him, even if he does speak to her "dark" side. Hope that's not a spoiler. I couldn't help feeling this was an effort to jump on the Fifty Shades bandwagon, but as I've enjoyed my share of Black Lace books, this really isn't that different. As I said, it's a very specific genre and my expectations are different than for a different type of literature.

This was recommended as the new erotic sensation after fifty shades. This is an erotic book, but on the other hand it is totally different than fifty shades. Maybe it because this book is written by two people, a woman wrote the parts about Summer and a man wrote the part about the man in the book. I think it is also different because of Summer who is the main female character in the book. She is no virgin at all and did try some things out. She feels sexual when she plays het violin and is an bit of an exhibitionist. But she never went this far as Dominic (what is in a name?) introduce her too other erotic ways.I liked the book and I want to know how it goes further with Summer.
