Even before she opened her eyes, Cassie remembered where she was and moved closer to Todd. They had rolled apart during the night, and now, as she edged nearer to him, he stirred and reached out for her. They both opened their eyes and gazed at each other, and Todd stroked Cassie’s face lightly with his fingertips.
