All of his mates were busy with their significant others. For most of them, they were significant just for right now. Only one of his mates was in a serious, committed relationship. That left him alone on Sunday evening, wondering what to do to fill the lonely hours ahead. After Will grabbed a burger and fries at the local greasy dive, he figured he might as well go see a movie. That’ll take up some time and ya don’t need your mates. It’s not like you can talk and discuss it while watching, anyway. Will walked to the local cinema complex. He stood under the marquee, looking at the posters for the latest blockbuster releases. He was in luck. There was a new movie out and it starred his favorite actor, Tom Kent. “Perfect.” He spoke out loud, not caring who heard him talk to himself. Will approached the ticket counter, and as luck would have it, the movie was set to start in fifteen minutes. Just enough time to go pee and get snacks. Even though he’d just eaten a burger, it didn’t matter.
