This series is definitely getting better. I enjoyed it far more than the first, and read through in less than a day because I couldn't put it down without finishing.Abby, although still making rash decisions didn't have me thinking 'what the bloody hell is she doing?' like Abby from book one. She still has her faults but I find myself liking her more and more. And as for the romance, Elven prince over incubus any day. The love triangle is starting to get messy, but I feel it is leaning towards Ion much to my disappointment but I am hoping I am wrong.I am very happy I continued this series, seriously. I started off thinking that this was definitely better than the first book in the series, and I still think it was. I think the author is getting better and I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes in the next book.I just could not get behind the love triangle here. It honestly was almost laughable at times. And I maybe want the main character to be a little less all over the place romance-wise. I understand that the incubus is a sexy sex man, but that doesn't mean Abby has to be all sexy with him. Especially after the way things ended in the last book. Control yourself, woman!I'm still not really clear on the world building or the rules or anything, and there were a couple of scenes where I really couldn't tell what was going on, but for the most part, the story was really interesting, and I feel like the author has some good, original ideas.
What do You think about A Sliver Of Shadow (2012)?
This book was much better than the first book. Definitely more cohesive and I enjoyed it a lot!
