His second stopped before him. “The other demon sector has requested more demon swarms in the Adirondack area. They sense power there.” He blew the sweet smoke out of his lungs, then smiled. “Then we shall move further north and join them. Power of that sort can only mean one thing . . .” He put the butt of his cigar out on the sole of his shoe then flicked the item away. As his hands fisted at his sides, his claws cut into his gray, leathery skin but he didn’t care.
