Another fun and exciting entry in the Alien series. Btw, I enjoy the introductions: "...What can I say? I get around."Characters continue to come and go--sometimes for good. And Kitty Katt is fantastic--well, except for when she declared war on the United States. (It was a mistake.) And people are still changing jobs and titles. And little Jamie shows off a new talent. It's hard keeping track amid the danger and suspicions, and as Jeff said, "Can it get any worse?"Of course. 'Cause there are more villains and conspiracies, and Kitty Katt comes up with the Sith Lord theory as gleaned from the Star Wars movies. [You've got to pay attention!] There's a lot going on, and I enjoyed this new adventure. Recommended; and don't forget, there's adult content. Note: Why did they change the cover on this one. I liked the theme of the others, and this one confused me because I wondered what happened. And it doesn't fit with the other covers. I always love a new Kitty Katt Martini story and this one was another wonderful action-packed adventure, full of Kitty’s humor, astute deductions and ability to hold it together in a crisis. There are a lot of supporting characters on her team to keep up with, but the one thing that ties them all together is their willingness to listen to Kitty and help in any way they can to do as she asks, even if they throw out snarky comments while they do it. This time there are two visiting princesses from Beta 12, political maneuverings, murder, disappearances, conspiracies, planning for baby Jamie’s first birthday, the return of a once vanquished enemy, and changes that will affect Kitty and Jeff’s future in a major way. My favorite part is always seeing how all the clues and events come together in the end to make sense and save the day once more. I’m glad this author is so prolific since there are already two more books for me to enjoy in this fantastic series.
