I loved Van & Lauren's story! Van, strong, possessive alpha male with a few problems with human until he meets hid mate, Lauren. Lauren, a strong, take-no-shit from anyone human female who is loyal & loving to those she cares about. They started off a bit wobbly but they had great chemistry. This story had a good storyline, had humor(the scene where parker tries to attack Lauren to protect Mia was hysterically funny) and sad parts that made me tear up! There were parts that felt slightly rushed but it never took anything away from the story. Really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to book 3!!! Not one of my favourites This was a decent read but it didn't at any point suck me into this story. It seemed overly predictable. I think my biggest complaint is Mia. I didn't like her in the first book and was disappointed by how often she made appearances in this book. It seemed every page or so she was whining " language". I just didn't fall in love with this story and feel it's overpriced at its current $4.99 list price. I'm done with this series now and wouldn't personally.recommend it.
