I had a huge problem with the borderline rape happening all over this book. The worst part was that Tiernan brushed it off - "He's got no control over himself." Absolutely! You sound just like all the other abused women of the world... So aggravating. There were a couple of plot twists I didn't see coming and I don't really know how all this is going to get summed up on three books. I think Alyssa Day went in over her head with this series... As always, the romance fell completely flat - it's extra disappointing because I like Brennen, even the smut was lacking!! Brennan and Tiernan? So wonderful to finally see Brennan with emotions. Quick paced storyline with all kinds of twists and turns. I absolutely was sickened by the torture of shifters and humans to try and permanently enthrall them, but it's not supposed to give me warm fuzzies. Thrilled that the curse was broken and Tiernan stood up to Poseidon because let's face it - the Gods are always arrogant asses. Fast paced enjoyable read.Until next time,~Lisa
