What an explosive ending to such a great serie. Some elements you see coming, some not at all. and to say that Alaric is the most intense and scariest of the bunch is saying little. Quinn really has an iron temperament to stand up to him. And to actually make him laugh and tell jokes. I had some great laughs and early some tears all along this book. Atlantis is safely part of the world again and I would love to read more about the next generation: Aidan, Penarddun... They sound really promising. AWESOME! I own the entire "Warriors of Poseidon" series. This final installment in the series is great! Alric & Quinn FINALLY get their story. I read this book in about 5 hours, I just couldn't put it down!! I loved how we get to revisit all the other characters from the previous books and have a final "goodbye" with them. Alyssa Day is a fabulous author and I can't wait for her Black Swan series to debut. She immediately jumped to #1 on my favorite author list with the very first book I read, which by the way was actually the 4th book in the series. Which is also something else I enjoyed about her series, like all great authors, her serials can stand on their own. You don't have to read from the beginning to know what's going on. Once you pick up one of the books in this series, you can't wait to grab another and "meet" the rest of the "family".
