I wanted to start to read Amulet because everyone in the class was saying how good the book was, so I read the first book and I really liked it.The reason why I would prefer the book to other students is because it has a part about love, horror, and happiness. In the book, there was a family that lost their dad during a car crash ,so they had to move to a different house because they could not afford another one.They drove to the old house and when they got there it was old and dusty. After a while, when they were finished cleaning, they went to bed. In the middle of the night they heard a strange sound, so the went down and they realized that the house was haunted! The ghost took the two childrens’ mom. This book really grabbed my attention right when i started the book. This book was an easy read and was plot and action packed. This book had really amazing drawings and the characters were very well put together. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend because even if you don't like fantasy this book would be a great read. This book is part of a series and i would definitely continue reading the series.
