I'm a sucker when it comes to books about Angels so I was hooked before reading it. This is very much an adult fiction so it was an interesting read as it was defiantly a new genre for me. I love the possessiveness of Uriel for Ellie and their steamy sessions were pretty well written. Haha there was certainly a lot of drama and it was very much problem after problem which made it a quick read and hard to put down as I wanted to know how our heroes would overcome these dramas. Loved the quick read and look forward to reading the rest of the series Not a genre I usually read but I liked the premise of the story about the archangels coming to Earth to find their women. One of them becomes a film star after two thousand years of having no luck finding his woman. Quite tacky, but I was intrigued to know how an angel would cope living a Hollywood life.As far as the premise goes, I think the writer has some imagination. But when it came to the characters (especially the male ones, of which that is all but one) she lacked imagination. I don't know how many male characters were described as being handsome and having rippling muscles beneath tight t-shirts, because after the first ten I started to forget who was who.Luckily the story centers around Ellie and Uriel, who are like star crossed lovers or something. But Uriel becomes a vampire and Ellie has to use her special powers to protect him from the baddie who is another handsome man with rippling muscles...blah blah. The writing was rich in description, but had far too much telling for it to be engaging. But it wasn't as bad as I thought and I got through the book without becoming bored because there is a lot of action and treachery. The two stars are because the writer stuck closely with the protagonists and gave vivid descriptions of the settings. And I read it all.
Me encantó!!! Me gustó mucho Uriel pero creo que el mejor libro será el de Azrael....
