Story was good but a lot more predictable than the first book with one or two exceptions. I enjoyed the read and while the storyline progressed I did not feel like the main characters developed or evolved more than what we learned in book one. The lesser characters of Logan's friends and teacher we learned more about but not Logan, Sam or Dom. That being said I do feel like this second book was more of a setup for the final installment of the trilogy so I am excited for the last book. Will be anxiously waiting for the third and final installment of the October trilogy. I downloaded Secretly Sam straight after reading the first book, as the cliff hanger had literally kept me hanging.....I was not disappointed with the second instalment. It takes place a few days after with Sam Hain still trying to get Logan to go the land of the dead with him, but who does Logan and her friends need to be wary of? Because who is Secretly Sam? I was on edge through the entirety, I very rarely read books about witches but I thought these books would be cool reads with Halloween only a few weeks away and just like Heather introduced werewolf books to me, she has now opened my eyes to books about witches and the spells that can entice you into the pages. The October trilogy takes all the things I now love and wraps them into one, vampires, werewolves and witches. One new character is introduced into Secretly Sam and I am really looking forward to seeing how he develops, just please do not make me wait until next October!!!!! ahhhhh!!! I still do not know who I am routing for.... Sam / Dominic .......Sam / Dominic??????And be warned another cliff hanger!!!!!
What do You think about Secretly Sam (2000)?
I read this book only because I read book 1. Not the worse book but somewhat better than the first.
