This is the fourth book written by David Walliams and I really enjoyed reading it. It tells the story of Ben, a young boy, who doesn't particular look forward to staying with his Grandma. They eat cabbage soup and play scrabble, he thinks its boring. Until one day, he finds out his Grandma is actually an international thief! She plans to heist the crown jewels and decides to ler her grandson in on her plan. David Walliams is by nature a comedian, and that comes across very strongly in this narrative, a cleverly written funny book. I used this text when looking at instructions with year 5, how to steal the crown jewels, and they are all big fans of the book. gangsta granny is a grill book Ben hates going to his gramas and is not that keen on his parents who love to dance when Ben is going to his Nana she makes him eat cabbage soup Ben starts to complain and his Nana hears him so she creates a plan Ben starts to like his grama but when she is rushed into hospitable horrible things start to happen Ben ends up having to do a dance in one of his mums costumes for a show because Ben wants to keep the secret this is a b brill book it has got lots of laughter I would reccomend this to age 7 to13 amazing its one of them books were you just want to carry on David Williams has wrote the best book ever ... :-) there is lots of up and downs in this its a 5star for the quality .:-) - personally I would read this and the rest of his books perfect love it read it and enjoy ...:-) :-) -:-) -:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) '-
Artig bok, selv om jeg er utenfor målgruppen. litt voksenhumor noen steder hjelper veldig.

This was fun, we loved Granny! Love the way his books feature Raj the newsagent each time.

My 5 year old enjoyed this book. It was a fun book to read but Walliams is no Roald Dahl.
