This volume was even better than the first! We are seriously starting to delve into the world of shonen manga publishing, and it is absolutely fascinating! The "big reveal" moments had me flipping pages faster than you can say "Bakuman", and the characters were fantastic in that they all have very different personalities one from the other, rather than being similar to each other.I love how measured the romance is in this series. It isn't overdone, and isn't the main focus of the story, but it's a nice little breather from all of the bated-breath inducing action when it comes around. Can't wait to pick up volume 3! I found this one to be much more interesting than the first volume. I like his friend Akito much more than the main character Mashiro. The characters are a little flat, but the story is an interesting glimpse into the manga industry, of which I knew nothing about. Some people will hate this series, just because it's more of a drama, and there's no comedy or action, and the romance aspect is seriously lacking. I see it as more of an educational manga.
