This could've been something different. I loved the details about the inside trades, the ranking battles, and the market manipulations. I loved that for once, instead of living-for-art run of the meal motivation, we get something that is honest about pride, vanity, popularity and societal approval. It's just unfortunate that it slid down hill pretty quickly, with shoehorned romance that took up at least a quarter of the story yet without any actual content. I get that the leads are slightly poorly adjusted teenagers, but three books worth of romance that can be nailed down to "we are accidentally engaged but I can't talk to her because I need to save her for my success reward". Really? Really?! Oh my God, Eiji is such a weirdo hahahaha! God he reminds me of .. me, but I'm more reeled in , if you know what I mean.. He must have ADD or something.. I always like to jump and say 'Asperger's' if a character is 1) not very social 2) a little loopy 3) weird quirks (hand flapping, obsession with his things .. like not being touched or handled without permission ) .. but seriously, this guy is something else .. Love this series!
What do You think about Bakuman, Volume 3: Debüt Und Ungeduld (2011)?
I just have to say it: I love Eiji soooooo much:))) He's so weird it's just wonderful:))
