And then she would have to turn away from her window and remind herself just to look and see if Beast were finished, nothing more. She knew she shouldn’t give in to her yearnings with Beast. He wasn’t even a man, but she felt the desire to be with him, and it was growing stronger. She managed to avoid him during the day, but at night she couldn’t. He invaded her sleep. She dreamed that Beast came into her room and walked straight across to the bed, where Beauty lay in only a corset, buttoned at the front. He told her he’d changed his mind.
