I really liked this story. It opens on a young man listening to a baby cry while he is standing outside the front door. Come to find out that it is his ex-wife's apartment, the baby is his son, and he was supposed to have picked up Kail the day before but was stood up. Because he was very sensitive to the fact that his son was crying and he could see no other life in the apartment, he breaks in and rescues the boy from the "crack den" that his ex has been living in. Okay, so it's not really a crack den, but there are drugs all over the place, and his son is naked except for an overfull diaper. How could you not love the fact that the guy is trying to protect his son from that? Then we meet Sully, who has a self-proclaimed "oral fixation". Did I mention that Devyn is covered in tattoos and piercings? Sully comes out with the line "Made for me." Just perfect... any more made for him and Devyn would have had to have had his skin treated with eau de chocolate chip or Strawberry Lollipop glaze... ya know something like that. Anyway, the story is real quick but very good. I liked seeing the devotion from both "Dads." It's way sexy. Great read! I love how Lee Brazil makes the reader realize that looks truly don't mean ANYTHING! Tattoos and piercings do not make you a bad father and a Chanel suit definitely does NOT make you a good mother. Sully falling for Devyn had little to do with the way Devyn looked and more to do with the caring father that Devyn is. This story shows that it's WHO you are not WHAT you look like (or even what sex you are) that matters. I loved Sully and Devyn's journey, and baby Kail was adorable.
