“You can’t be serious! I would have left immediately.” Kayla gasped quietly ducking her head down as if they weren’t the only two people on the entire floor. “Oh no honey, I love the weird ones, they really melt my butter.” She said with a Marilyn face, and then winked. Kayla turned pink as Lenora’s door swung open and a girl with long blonde hair walked out; her eyes were wide, and Belle couldn’t tell if that was just her natural pallor, or if she was white as s ghost. When the girl was gone from the waiting room, Belle stood, adjusting her purse strap on her shoulder. “She was cute huh?” Belle asked, and Kayla nodded enthusiastically. “Her name is Alice, she was interviewed today. I think she will do great here if Lenora hires her, she is awfully quiet though.” Kayla pursed her lips, she loved to gossip with the girls about their adventures, but confessed often that she wasn’t interested in the line of work.
