I really enjoyed this book because of its candor. I identified with the author's difficulty with the fear of the unknown and leaving family behind. I especially loved her frankness regarding yoga today and the big bucks behind the industry. I felt she did a great job of saying everything I have been feeling, I found myself nodding along to a lot of the story. This book is a must read for any yogi who grapples with fears of death and letting go. breezy, in the style of confessions of a shopaholic. I think she did a good job of integrating past and present, of presenting different characteristics of her friends (and idols) when in different states of her own mind. I like the way that she has different characters present different philosophies about life and then tries to analyze her opinions of their opinions. She tells different episodes of her Bali adventure very well. a quote that I like: well, I'll find it later.
Nice, cute story but incredibly tedious to read. Just read Eat, Pray, Love and call it a day.
