April 2014: 4 StarsAnd so it begins. Our next story arc, the one that ends in volume 9, starts at the very beginning of this volume. Our characters continue to deal with the new development in their relationship with Rin. At times humorous, it also hits hard to see how changed they are. I feel so bad for Rin...The plot brings our characters to Kyoto, which is Suguro, Konekomaru and Shima's home base. Although all the introductions and religions introduced and explained can be overwhelming, they are also quite interesting.Suguro's Stress Meter is awesome xD I started reading this volume and then I was so busy for a few days I didn't get around to getting back to it so I feel like I forgot most of what happened. I know it was a lot of boring (compared to other volumes).I hope things work out for Rin because I really like him a lot. And I wish him and Yukio were closer and got a long better... I think I've been yearning for their relationship to be different...but I don't think it will :-( But who knows, maybe it will change. We'll have to wait and see.
What do You think about Blue Exorcist, Vol. 5 (2011)?
So, this one kind of wandered around a bit, but I'm still enjoying the series...
