By far the worst book I have ever read. I don't like to start a book and not finish it, so I forced myself to read page after page, all the while telling myself 'It will be worth it in the end!' Well- it wasn't, the end was the worst part. So to anyone else who is part way through this book and dying of a combination of boredom and confusion, my advice is take it to the nearest charity shop.I've heard brilliant things about Joanne Harris and in particular her novel Chocolat but I don't think I will be able to bring myself to read it. A surprisingly entertaining little psycho-thriller with the obligatory twist at the end.
