Okay, this book was chosen for me in a pick-it for me challenge. I bought it the day I was told my book the first week in November and it has taken me all this time to finish it. I have read and enjoy many books that have BDSM relationships but this one was a very hard pill for me to shallow. I did not like that he basically took her by force in the beginning. The scenes with all the guys were interesting and hot but I just could not believe that all those men played a role in bringing her together with a another man. Odd!! Definitely not my usual type of book it definitely was way out of my comfort zone. This short has a surprising amount of character development but still left me wanting to know more about the other guys so on that front it's a great start to a series. Savannah is an independent, driven & lonely woman. It was ingrained in her by her father to be self-reliant & never fully trust another, never let her guard down. Given the fact that she's 35 she's fortified those defenses into a fortress which makes her intimidating to face in a board room. She's known Matt Kensington & worked closely with him & his team for 2 yrs or so & has probably let them in more than any others in her life, which has prompted them to defend her. After playing cat & mouse for 2 yrs they orchestrate a coordinated attack to breach her defenses. It's quite an attack… *fans self*The reviews were kind of all over the place with this one so I entered at my own risk. I'll admit it started off a bit rocky, I thought she was going to take me somewhere I didn't really want to go but I should know better. It takes a special writer to turn what amounts to a gang bang into something romantic but I should know not to underestimate Ms. Hill. She sure can imagine some kinky devices as well as some impossibly romantic overtures. 2 yrs of roses every single Friday???? No one could resist that!
What do You think about Board Resolution (2010)?
