I have been reading Michelle Sagara's Cast series for a number of years, and always enjoy the binds that Corporal Kayla Neya gets herself into, and how she works the knots apart, or works magic, or earns new respect from the arrogant Barrani, her seargent Marcus, Severn her partner, or the numerous elementals, words of magic, or characters, like Dragons, she keeps running into... This fantasy world is a treat to return to, time and time again...Recommended read, very enjoyable! While this book was better than the last, it still lacked something for me. I prefer the book in which the other races - Leontine, Tha'alani, Dragons, have a more prominent role. To be frank, Kaylin annoys me quite a bit. Her incessant questions and shrugging are really starting to bug me. While she isn't the only character to have traits that test my patience, she is the most prominent. That said, it was good to have more of the Consort, Lord of the West March and Teela.
What do You think about Cast In Sorrow (Luna) (2013)?
pretty much the worst book in the series so far
