SUMMARY:Mystery bookstore owner Tricia Miles has been spending more time solving whodunits than reading them. Now a nearby gas explosion has injured Tricia's sister's boyfriend, Bob Kelly, the head of the Chamber of Commerce, and killed the owner of the town's history bookstore. Tricia's never been a fan of Bob, but when she reads that he's being tight-lipped about the "accident", it's time to take action.REVIEW: Easy to read cozy mystery with interesting characters, a good storyline and in the vein of Murder She Wrote or Miss Marple. Although this installment of the Booktown Mystery series was not plagued with as much of the sibling rivalry as the prior titles, Barrett still clutters up the plot with distractions. While she does manage to pull all the threads together by the last chapter, it was far from an enjoyable read for me. As I noted in a review of one of the other titles in this series, the scenarios in do not reflect the reality of small town life in the Granite State. In my opinion, good fiction bends reality without breaking it. While Barrett hasn't reached that stage, she sure comes close in this one.
