Stoneham, NH is where Tricia Miles runs a book store. Her sister conned her into going to a pre opening of a b&b. While there Tricia recognizes someone she thinks. Of her sister brings her dog and while Tricia is walking she finds a body. She calls the police and they arrive keeping everyone fir questioning. The Miles sisters get involved in the investigation due to personal reasons. This was a good episode of booktown and has some surprises not expected. This is the first Booktown series mysteries I've read. I rated it "ok" in that it is a competent cozy mystery, and I like cozy mysteries set in small towns. But, it could have benefited from and editor's pruning--it' perhaps one-quarter too long--the ending was unsatisfactory (out-of-nowhere), and none of the characters were really fun to spend time with. Good small-town setting, though, and competent writing.
These are all I have in the house right now (snow bound). Had to start them out of order, too.
