‘I’ve never seen anything like this in the ice land,’ Kai said into his headset mouthpiece. ‘It’s raining ice,’ said BC. ‘We are in the ice land but why is the storm so bad?’ ‘We’re close to the wind land border,’ said Kai. ‘It’s hard to see,’ said BC. ‘I’ve turned on your eye-windscreen wipers,’ said Kai. ‘I’m flying further into the ice land now. The storm will be behind us soon.’ But the storm got worse. Ice shards came down hard on the Jet-Luge. Then Kai heard a noise. ‘Hail stones,’ said Kai as he tried to dodge them. ‘But these ones are massive ice balls!’ ‘I’ll get them with my eye lasers,’ said BC. He opened fire and hit a huge ball headed for the cockpit. The giant ice ball exploded into a pile of burning dirt. ‘Inside those ice balls is fire and dirt,’ said Kai staring. ‘And the outside is thick, hard ice. They have to be coming from a mutant.’ ‘Mutant pests,’ said a voice through the cockpit speakers. ‘Will Ritter reporting in for battle.’ ‘Where have you been?’ asked Kai.
