This book is about a little cloud who like being small. When ever the big clouds go make rain and thunder she likes to stay back and watch. She tries to go help people who need just a little water, but she can't find anyone who needs her. She then feels like she has no purpose, on her way back to the sky she gets blown away accidentally. In her know home she finds a dry pond, so she olds her breath and she erupts with rain! The pond is filled again and she feels Iike she now has a purpose!!I would use this book in a science lesson to introduce my students to the water cycle. To show them that rain comes from clouds and that very part of the world has a purpose just as they do. This is a super book for littl'uns who just can't wait to grow up. It celebrates the promise of the small. A real feel good book for your child. The art was good, the color expressive, the story was nice, the message was clear and meaningful. This book is especially applicable to younger children, though many in early school can also probably relate. It also even manages to "sort of" cover various cloudy activities to add a bit of learning-ish-ness. Recommend.
