...Wow... These reviews are intimidating, they're so mature...This is a great book. The description is well done, the characters are great, location, etcetera.I'm going to try and not rave about the book entirely, so here's a downside.Sometimes the plot can get somewhat confusing, and I'm pretty sure it's just me, but I swear the plot got slightly inconsistent in some places.I found that Erno and Emily were more interesting than Scott. The Freemen cult was hilarious for me, and the part where they try to make Emily into cereal was entertaining. And it's a lot more of a shock when you're reading at 4 AM.The jokes are original, and clean...I wish I could say more, but I don't think anything more can be said...But overall, a great book. Scott is the new kid at school and makes friends with some fellow outcasts and finds that they both have ties to Goodco cereal; the biggest employer/attraction in town. Through run-ins with leprechauns and showdowns with characters from the tales of King Arthur the kids figure out that the powers that be in the Goodco organization are up to no good. Magic, mayhem, mysteriously fortified milk, and humor make this a great read for grades 5-8. I listened to the audiobook version of this title and it was GREAT! The performer excels at voicework and this title would make a great listen for a family roadtrip.
