Billy I sighed and took the flowers into the apartment, setting them on the kitchen counter. I let my backpack fall on the floor. Leaning on my elbows over the counter, I breathed in the fragrance as my body tingled from head to toe and my heart fluttered. No one had ever bought me flowers. Not even a corsage for prom.
