A sweet story of a new relationship that grows with trust set to the background of bigotry. Drake falls hard for Adam, a man different from his usual attraction. They share a good chemistry. Drake is a cop who is still in the closet. Will he be secure enough to live his life openly with Adam? There is also issues of bigotry revolving around another. Drake hesitates to step forward to protect the other man. Nice story well written. I like these guys. 2.5 StarsThis one didn't really work for me. I liked both MCs and the storyline had promise, but everything happened instantaneously. Insta-lust, insta-love, insta-out, insta-cohabitation. This book needed more character and plot development. On a side note, Grady's situation pulled at my heartstrings. I hope he gets his HEA and it's more well developed than Drake and Adam's.Bottom line: insta-nah.
