In addition to my bulk series review, I can only give this book 1 star.Series review. Some parts were better than others, and for a lot of this series I was cursing and wanting to throw my iPad, but I read the lot. I still can't believe I did (a wee bit of skimming involved - don't think i missed much). Like a train crash—needed to see it all play out for some godforsaken reason. The end of book 5 had me so close to giving it a 1, for the lot, I was so cranky! But seeing as I was drawn along for the whole ride I will average it at 2. But it was JUST okay. Sara York wrote another great book for this series with a breathtaking end. Don't waste time my friends and buy the series bundle-thingy 'cos you won’t regret it. From the very beginning of this book, I was left breathless to the point of nearly fainting...That helicopter crash scene was just amazing!!!I was devestated with the possibility of Gresh dying...but he didn't...It was a real heart warming to read his recovery and the emotional healing process between Gresh and Lane....but then Sara York focuses on Riley....Dear fallible jealous, selfish but still lovable Riley....I won’t tell you what happens but this part was another scene that took my breath away and left me feeling bereft.What I liked most was Sara York did not forget any character and concluded their individual tales in this final book and then added a few for her next series......she actually managed to connect 2 different series in this book...what a clever idea so as you can imagine I shall be hunting her next cowboy series... I love Sara York's style of writing filled with plots and twists yet sizzling hot...all emotional....*sigh* :):)(less)
