(Note: you can find the e-read for the Barnes & Noble Nook. Its not sold on amazon.)Five Stars! I definitely wanted to read this when I came across it and even more interested to read it after finding out that Amazon banned it. This is the definition of a dark read and not for the faint of heart. I think I was a little shocked towards the scenes near the climactic end. My heart was racing and my mind basically tripped over itself a few times because of these main characters. This was a worthwhile read if you like dipping your toes in this dark genre, but definitely not hearts and unicorns stuff. With the 4.05 average and the long list of glowing 5 star reviews I was expecting to experience a great read. What I got were lackluster and unbelievable characters and a nearly non-existent plot. Good things about this book:1. The premise is a fascinating take on Stockholm syndrome.2. There is no two, because there is literally nothing else that I found interesting or entertaining about this book. After about page 90 I gave up trying to slog through it and flipped to the end hoping for something to justify my time but alas it wasn't meant to be. This book might put me off of the entire genre for life. Seriously.
Completely mindfuck, but a page-turner indeed
